Hi Classmates,
What a great thing this is, to get in touch with those we grew up with. Right now, I am 49 years old. Can you believe it? If you went to Francis Lewis and graduated in 1976, you, too, are 49, or perhaps you have already had your 50th Birthday -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!! It is hard to believe, isn't it, Classmates? So, a "Class of '76 Turns 50!" Reunion is being planned! YIPPEE!! Can't wait to see you all on Saturday, June 28th. I hope you can make it! The venue is tentative; but no matter where we meet (hopefully, it will be at "Caffe on the Green" in Bayside, Queens, NY, our Reunion will take place on Saturday, June 28th, 2008 - so please - save the date!
With the tragic events of 9/11/01, I am certain all those reading this have chosen to live your life to the fullest - at least I know I have!
Here's my current life status - I am married and will have our five-year anniversary in June 2008. I met my husband, Gregg, on the website "Kiss.com," which is currently known as "Match.com." pool every morning at 6:00AM - it's the most peaceful time of the day. It truly soothes the mind before the painstaking 1 hour-and-45-minutes commute into the Big Apple. At least I am able to commute with my sister, Joyce, on most days, since we take the same train line; and, this makes the commute bearable!
After graduating from Francis Lewis High School, I attended Queensborough Community College and received my AAS in Applied Science (Secretarial Studies).
Currently, I am employed at a major commercial real estate firm working as an Executive Legal Assistant in the legal department -the office is in the Grand Central Station area in Manhattan. My first full-time job was at TV GUIDE (that was fun); then after that, I joined a real estate firm, and my next two jobs were also in real estate - I've been in that field for 22 years.
My favorite place to vacation is Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It's fun to be a kid at heart!
I have one cat - Little One. Her brother, Red, died in 2006, and I will always miss him.
